I came across 1910 - a design studio based in Sweden. I posted their work as a part of my ongoing investigation into identity and brand application here. I was immediately attracted to the white notebook / moleskine they used within their own branding so I decided to send them an email asking where they might have come across it.
As it was a studio whose work I was inspired by, I ensured I included this and request any possible feedback on my work. It's a shame they are based in Sweden but they said that whenever I'm in the area just to contact them and pop in for a visit.

PPD - The Design Blog
I submitted my work to a blog on Tumblr entitled 'The Design Blog' as part of their weekly submission for a designer of the week. I thought nothing of it until I got a message off Facebook saying I was the chosen designer for that week. Pretty chuffed! You can find the post here.
I submitted a brief bio (although in hindsight I should have written a better one) along with a couple of links to my online portfolio (found here) and my design a day blog (here). They selected 5 pieces of work which they believed to be the most effective.

I’m Joe Warburton, a second year Graphic Design student at Leeds College of Art. With a passion for brand identity, print and iconography, I strive to create works that have a clean and minimal aesthetic that communicate concisely and effectively.

Coast Design
Just came across this studio whilst searching for inspiration. Coast Design are an international design studio based in London and Brussels who have worked with a diverse range of clients. Working in the fields of branding, creative direction and graphic design, they specialise primarily in identity and communication - "Branding. Design. Experience."I would love to gain a placement here - their approach is something I wish to emulate within my own design practice. Clients, I believe, will immediately engage with their passion and dedication to a project.
SMETS - Case study
Full brand identity complete with custom typeface, iconography and general brand aesthetic; applied to a diverse range of deliverables. The design direction is consistent throughout proving much thought has gone into the developmental process of the brand in its entirety.
"Our challenge was to bring the brand to a level consistency across all platforms, creating bridges between art, design, fashion and food. Our positionning work digged deep into the brand attributes, and our creative work resulted in a playful and consistent system of typeface, colours and symbols. "

Enterprise - Business Plan
Within the business plan, we included a summary as to who we are, what Craft is and how we will market ourselves, based on the handout provided by BusinessLink. The majority of information was dictated in the vocal presentation (such as finance etc).
Revised business plan
Additional info in regards to finance and accounts.
Enterprise - Presentation
As a group, we decided to all have input into the creation of the presentation as it is simply an accumulation of our independent research and analysis. We kept a minimal approach in order to reflect our branding with an emphasis on type and keeping the information clear and concise. The vocal presentation will reinforce what is seen on the screen therefore we decided not to overload the slides with information.
As Charlotte and Luke were presenting, they wrote the following script, with input on individual sections from me and Max (finance and SWOT analysis respectively), encompassing all the research we did individually and as a group.
