I came across 1910 - a design studio based in Sweden. I posted their work as a part of my ongoing investigation into identity and brand application here. I was immediately attracted to the white notebook / moleskine they used within their own branding so I decided to send them an email asking where they might have come across it.
As it was a studio whose work I was inspired by, I ensured I included this and request any possible feedback on my work. It's a shame they are based in Sweden but they said that whenever I'm in the area just to contact them and pop in for a visit.

PPD - The Design Blog
I submitted my work to a blog on Tumblr entitled 'The Design Blog' as part of their weekly submission for a designer of the week. I thought nothing of it until I got a message off Facebook saying I was the chosen designer for that week. Pretty chuffed! You can find the post here.
I submitted a brief bio (although in hindsight I should have written a better one) along with a couple of links to my online portfolio (found here) and my design a day blog (here). They selected 5 pieces of work which they believed to be the most effective.

I’m Joe Warburton, a second year Graphic Design student at Leeds College of Art. With a passion for brand identity, print and iconography, I strive to create works that have a clean and minimal aesthetic that communicate concisely and effectively.
