Photography tips
  • Shoot in raw
  • Make no more than 5% adjustments
  • Every stock achieves different results
  • Have linked images for further adjustments when sending a file to print
  • RGB gamuts exceed CMYK

Ink on uncoated paper - Dot gain (how colour is measured)
e.g. 1mm -> 1.2mm


Pantone & Tints
  • When working with tints, it is hard to achieve 50%
  • Converted Pantone colours have varied CMYK percentages which may affect the printed outcome
  • If there is a percentage close to , take this process colour out
  • 4 colours at 100% = registration
